These Terms of Service govern your use of FaceOverlay, a macOS application published by Kuip Limited.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using FaceOverlay, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. License
Kuip Limited grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use FaceOverlay for personal or business use in accordance with these Terms and the applicable app store terms.
3. Use of the App
FaceOverlay is intended to display a floating webcam overlay on macOS.
You agree not to:
- Use the app in violation of applicable law
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or interfere with the app beyond rights allowed under applicable law
- Use the app in a way that harms Kuip Limited or other users
4. Camera Permission
The app requires camera access in order to show a live webcam overlay. You are responsible for granting or revoking camera permission through macOS settings.
5. No Account Requirement
The current version of FaceOverlay is designed to work without requiring a user account.
6. App Store Distribution
If you download FaceOverlay through Apple’s App Store, your use is also subject to Apple’s applicable terms and conditions.
7. Disclaimer
FaceOverlay is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kuip Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of FaceOverlay.
9. Changes
Kuip Limited may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
